Zombie Asockalypse has been selected for screening at the Stuttgart Animation Festival 2011, one of Europe's biggest animation festivals! The film is screening as part of a British Short Film programme on Saturday May 7th, see the link for more details.

Sensoria, the UK's premier Music and Film festival has selected The Karaoke Killers for their 'Sensoria Shorts' programme on Tuesday May 3rd. So it's Sheffield for another outing for Babymaker Barclay and the Karaoke People!

We just got back from the London Short Film Festival 2011, our short film 'Zombie Asockalypse' was an offical selection and screened on Friday January 7th, the opening night! There were about 100+ in the venue, the Institute of Contemporary Arts and am pleased to say the film went very well! We had a great time thanks to Chris & Martin for putting us up and for the fine curry! This month we are into pre-production on the follow-up 'Sockzilla!', so watch this space!

We're delighted to announce that Zombie Asockalypse has been selected for screening at the London Short Film Festival 2011! We'll provide all the relevant screening info soon as we get it! Looks like we might be breaking big in the Old Smoke as In addition to that, our favourite sock puppet horror film is also being screened at a special best of festival screening night at Cinefringe's Christmas Party in London on 19 December.

Zombie Asockalypse wins BEST FILM award at the 2010 Cinefringe Film Festival, at the Edinburgh Fringe!!


The team were delighted to received the Judge's award for best film at the Cinefringe award ceremony on August 28th, this is excellent news as we faced some very stiff competition. That's two best film awards and a runner-up place in only 2 months!

Plans already afoot for a follow-up animated short - Sockzilla!

The Buckshee Countess has a successful cast and crew screening at the Filmhouse, followed by drinks and networking at the Traverse Bar.

We are currently preparing to go into pre-production on a new short film, 'Scoop of the Year' - a comedy thriller which follows a young local news reporter in his search for a missing girl.

Casting is still being undertaken for a number of key roles and location scouting is underway. The film will be shot on HD in colour in Edinburgh and the Lothians as well as in Perthshire.

Short film 'Dark Harbour' has been acquired by American Distribution outlet Indieflix for on-line commercial distribution.
