We just got back from the London Short Film Festival 2011, our short film 'Zombie Asockalypse' was an offical selection and screened
on Friday January 7th, the opening night! There were about 100+ in the venue, the Institute of Contemporary Arts and
am pleased to say the film went very well! We had a great time thanks to Chris & Martin for putting us up
and for the fine curry! This month we are into pre-production on the follow-up 'Sockzilla!', so watch this space!
We're thrilled to announce that The Buckshee Countess has been selected for screening at the Short Cinema
event at The Phoenix Cinema in London! So that will be Oaty Hill Production's 3rd screening in as many months down
in London!

Zombie Asockalypse is broadcast on My Channel (Sky Channel 219) on
Wednesday 27th October 2010 at 01:25am! They've also confirmed that
they will broadcast several other Oaty Hill shorts during November. More
details to follow when they have scheduled the films.

Zombie Asockalypse wins BEST FILM award at the 2010 Cinefringe Film Festival,
at the Edinburgh Fringe!!
The team were delighted to received the Judge's award for best film at
the Cinefringe award ceremony on August 28th, this is excellent news as we
faced some very stiff competition. That's two best film awards and a runner-up
place in only 2 months!
Plans already afoot for a follow-up animated short - Sockzilla!
The Loch Ness Film Festival is having something of an Oaty Hill Retrospective as they
are screening no less than 4 of our shorts!
Dark Harbour, Zombie Asockalypse, The Karaoke Killers

Edinburgh short film competition,
Short Film Feast. Onward to the final in July!
The Buckshee Countess has a successful cast and crew
screening at the Filmhouse, followed by drinks and networking
at the Traverse Bar.
We are currently preparing to go into pre-production
on a new short film, 'Scoop of the Year' - a comedy thriller
which follows a young local news reporter in his search for
a missing girl.
Casting is still being undertaken for a number of key roles and location
scouting is underway. The film will be shot on HD in colour in Edinburgh and the Lothians as well as in Perthshire.
Short film 'Dark Harbour' has been acquired by American Distribution outlet Indieflix for on-line commercial distribution.
